Kevin McGreevy
Kevin battled drug addiction for over ten years. He hated being an addict. He knew the destruction he was leaving in his path for himself and his family and he hated it. He used to ask me, why? Why am I an addict? It was a question I could not answer. He had a hole in his soul that he thought he could fill with drugs. What he wanted most in life was to live a life he was proud of. He died on May 11, 2020 without fulfilling that dream. He fought hard and had many ups and downs. Every day was a battle. He was not just an addict though. Kevin was a son. He was a brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend. He had the best laugh and the biggest
heart around. He didn’t have much, but he would literally help anyone he met. He was an artist. He loved laughing with his cousins. Nothing brought him more joy than hearing from them or hanging out with them. He made many great memories in his 30 years on earth. We all have many great memories that we will hold close to our heart when we think of our Kevin. Kevin spent many hours on the phone with other addicts, trying to help others. No matter what he was going through personally, he cared so hard about other people. We will love him forever and hold him close in our hearts. I pray that he is finally at peace and watching over us.
