Mother Mary

Well, not that Mother Mary, another Mary who is also a mom. 

Mary lost her son James in 2016 to heroin; she is missing a piece of her. She has been doing whatever she can to help the next James or Jane to get access to long-term residential recovery programs. This last weekend while others were gardening or attending social events, Mary and her best friend went to a street fair and raised funds for the Jake K Foundation. Mary is healing, and her dedication is helping to heal not only the person struggling with their substance use disorder, but the family that is overwhelmed and sometimes feeling hopeless.

When one person heals, others can too. 

Mary is healing.

Thank you, Mary, for raising the funds to pay the access fees for at least one person, quite possibly two.

There will be other mothers who will get to breathe, possibly smile, and maybe heal because of our mother Mary.
