Perspective and Promises

This morning I woke up to take my son to the school so he can participate in the military appreciation parade. I didn’t complain that it was early because I GET to be there for him.
I looked around my extremely messy (in my opinion) home and was thankful to have a home to clean. I could complain about the piles of laundry (the washer is still broken) but they come from the family I fought so hard to get back.

For me? NA promises freedom from active addiction IF I DO the WORK.

My God promises me grace and mercy if I keep living right for the right reasons. Because of these things every day I am able to promise my family to do my best to show up and be there.
